BON APPETIT! THE LIFE & TIMES OF JULIA CHILD, AMERICA'S "FRENCH CHEF"

Learn surprising details about the life of Julia Child, America's legendary "French Chef," famous for her cookbooks and TV shows. In this lecture illustrated with dozens of photos of her life, Sharon Hudgins will also tell about her own interview with Julia Child in Paris at the height of Julia's career.  Attendees are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy with the lecture.  Open to the public and all are welcome. 

SPEAKER BIO:  Sharon Hudgins is an award-winning cookbook author, editor, and culinary historian. A former university professor, she is the author of six books and more than 1,000 articles on history, travel, and food, published in magazines and newspapers including the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Saveur, Gastronomica, and National Geographic Traveler. She is also an experienced lecturer for National Geographic Expeditions, Smithsonian Journeys,  and Viking Cruises.
