Make your reservation to come and view the Frank Klepper Exhibit in the Library of the Heard-Craig Center.   Artist Frank Klepper: Who's Who in American Art, vol. ii, 1938 - 1939.  Born in Plano, Texas.  Pupil of AIC; harry Lachman in Paris.  Highland Park Society of Artists, Women's Forum medal, 1922, Tinker prize in landscape, Oak Cliff Fine Arts Association,  McKinney and Plano High Schools, Vanderpool Memorial Collection, Ney Museum in Austin, Murals in old Post Office (McKinney) and at Prarie View College, Texas.  

On the wall of the McKinney Post Office (now the Collin County History Museum) is a mural by artist Frank Klepper.  On the walls of the McKinney Heard-Craig Center for the Arts are beautiful original works by the artist himself.   Gracing the Center for a special exhibit during June and July, 2019, will be over 20 more Klepper art pieces from the collections of private McKinney residences.  Come by to see why Frank Klepper was asked, by Kathryn Heard-Craig, to help start the Art Club of McKinney over 100 years ago.
