ABOUT ABOUT

Swing by for an All-Day Woodworking Event at the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts.  The event will be held in the Main House, the Carriage House, the Garden, and the Parking lot, featuring over 44 wood artisans in the following areas:   Jewelry, Ornmanents, Furniture making, furniture refinishing, fretwork, framing, painting, dollhouses, instruments, and more.

Tickets are being sold for CHILDREN's WOOD MAKING in the Carriage House and all other artisan events are at no cost.   The Children's Wood Making sessions start every hour, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (one event at 9:00, one at 10:00, one at 11:00, one at 1:00, one at 2:00, etc).   The workshop cost, per child, is $9.00 and tickets must be purchased in advance so that supplies can be ordered.   On the ticket page, select which time slot your child will be attending.  While your child is creating a wood project, you can stroll leisurely through the Heard-Craig property, meeting the wood artisans and talking with experts in their field.

Additionally, there will be woodworking DEMOS on the Main Stage in front of the Carriage House.  The Demos start at 10:00 a.m. and run each hour.  Demos are FREE and open to the Public.  We do encourage registration for the free demos for planning purposes.
