The entertainment industry in McKinney was booming in the mid-1800's and early 1900s, thanks to places like the Heard Opera House, the Pope Theater, and the Ritz. The crowds went wild when John Phillip Sousa came to town; outdoor Airdomes were all the rage.
Join us for our March 11, 2020 Tea and Conversation with a Program called, "A Night on the Town". Local historian Pat Rogers shares a wonderful program from her research. Entertainment at it's best.
The Program begins at 2:00 PM in the Carriage House and is followed by a lunch, desserts, and tea in the Main Museum. There is an optional tour offerred after the luncheon.
