If you are familiar with the book, "RESCUING DA VINCI", by Dallas' own Robert Edsel, then you'll want to come to this Art History Lecture on September 5, 2018 from 12:30 - 1:30 when Dr. Clair Robertson (Collin College) will lead a session entitled, "Degenerate Art - The Fate of Modern Art in Nazi Germany". Between 1945 and 1946, Allied forces discovered more than 1,000 repositories in which art treasures had been stashed, hidden, or buried. The art was stolen from museums, churches, and individuals throughout Europe. Today, the quest continues to locate the artwork still missing.

These sessions are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
